Kongo Bongo Slot
Kongo Bongo slot is arguably one of the simplest slots to debut in the summer of 2019. The game debuted in April and is a simple 3-reel classic slot. The video slot has been produced by Tom Horn Gaming, and features a jungle theme, with a crazy monkey the highlight and main character in the release. As this is essentially a classic slot (albeit a modern looking one), players shouldn’t expect too many features to appear in the game. As a matter of that, there is scarcely one bonus feature at all present in this release.
The Tom Horn Gaming developed slot features 3 reels, as you would expect to find in any classic online casino slot. There is only a single payline, and it runs through the middle of those three reels. Despite the slot only having a line, it is not going to be cheap to play. Stakes cost as least £1 a spin, which is a lot to ask for a game devoid of features. At its costliest, Kongo Bongo can set players back a total of £100 a spin. Prizes are at least generous, with players able to bag wins worth up to £80,000 if they strike it lucky with this game. The jackpot is, of course, non-progressive in nature. Kongo Bongo’s RTP percentage is fair and dare we say even generous, standing at 96.07%.
Kongo Bongo is a highly volatile slot. In short, it won’t pay out wins very often. When it does, though, they tend to be considerably more valuable than you would find in a typical low variance release.
There are seven standard paying symbols in this slot, but there are no special icons. Players are going to have to land three icons on the game’s single line to win a prize. This is not going to be overly easy, but the same can be said of any similarly designed classic slot or fruit machine. Even wild symbols don’t make it into this release.
As this is a classic slot machine, players are not going to find wild symbols, scatter icons, instant win bonuses or free spins. There is simply none of that going on. Again, though, this shouldn’t surprise players. The same is true of nearly all classic slots.
Kongo Bongo is not going to impress players who like a host of features in their games. However, any player who fancies taking a trip back to the past to play a classic slot (albeit a modern one with flashy graphics) may like what Tom Horn Gaming is offering with this release. Unfortunately, because of how it is played and what it provides, Kongo Bongo is going to have something of a niche fan base.
